Halloween with Tigger

Daniel's first Trick or Treat night was a success. We went to a few houses in our cul-du-sac and handed out candy to all the neighborhood kids. Daniel also spent a while practicing his bouncing with the neighbors and their bouncy Tigger doll.



My office had a costume contest that morning - I won of course. Only three of the 12 employees dressed up though which was totally lame.

California

It has been about four years since I have visited my oldest sister Laurel in California so we decided to take a trip.
We took the first couple of days to just relax and play at home.




Saturday we went to Silverwood Lake in the mountains to play on the beach, picinic in the woods and relax.






Sunday we rested a bit and played in the neighorhood park.





Our last day we went all out and spent the whole day at Disneyland. We had an awesome time. Daniel seemed to enjoy himself too, although I am pretty sure he had no idea what was going on most of the time. Unfortunatley we didn't take many pictures but we had so much to do in just one day!

Hamburg

Daniel and I took Roxy to Hamburg to meet my parents half way so we could send Roxy to Big Daddy Camp for a couple of weeks. We started in Cabellas, a huge outdoors store, because I thought Daniel would like to see the menagerie of animals they have stuffed and mounted all over the store. I was wrong - he said "No, no" constantly until we left. (Although he did make some of the animal noises once we left.)

We then went to a local park to eat lunch and play. He played on everything there and seemed to have a great time! Roxy had fun too!

Farmers Market Saturday

Pop Pop and Grandma came to visit for a day this weekend. Usually we forget to take pictures when people visit but Kat's mom is always on the ball with the camera. Daniel and Pop Pop pushing the reel mower. When Jason gives me a hug - Daniel always jumps in on it. This is one of my favorite things! Daniel's first amusement ride. A "Ferris Wheel" at the Allentown Farmers Market then a Horsey and finally a Carosel. Great fun for $0.25 a pop!

Sunshine

We have had a tough couple of weeks here but the Lord knew I could handle it with His strength and the help of a little sunshine. At Beltzville Lake on Labor Day with Pop Pop and Grandma

Another Day at the Zoo

We had a perfect late summer afternoon to visit the zoo. If nothing else, we had fun watching the otters play. This is the first I have seen both of them active at the same time.
