Abigail is 9 Months Old!

Our little princess is now 9 months old! I can't believe how quickly these past few months have gone by. Abby has become a very silly, happy-yet-temperamental, sweet little girl. Now that she is more mobile she enjoys getting into as much as possible and her nick name, Grabigail, is even more appropriate. She loves to be the center of attention and is good at getting what she wants. (If she doesn't, we'll all hear about it!)  Her 9 month well visit went well and we were informed that she is in fact perfect in every way! (As if we didn't already know that.)  She is 28.25 inches and 17lb 6oz .  This puts her around 75-80% and 20-25% on the growth charts for height and weight respectively and keeps her on her normal growth curves to be tall and thin like her mommy used to be.

House Cleaning

My mother mentioned that she wanted to get the kids a play house and I found a play house at a yard sale!  Despite missing the telephone and maybe some other gadgets, it is in good shape.  In the Berenstain Bears book, "A Job Well Done" the cubs are spring cleaning their play house so Daniel thought he should wash his up too!  Mostly I think he wanted an excuse to climb on top of the house.

She Can Do It

This is what we are calling Abby's first crawl! She caught on quickly after this and was covering more ground at a clip by the end of the day.

Summer Days

Today was a beautiful, complete with a break in the intense heat and humidity so we spent the morning at the park.  I was filled with such joy having a picnic on a beautiful day with my babies that I thought I might burst!  (How much more so must God rejoice when we spend time in his presence!)  It is amazing how such simple things can make us happy and have us singing praise to our creator. 

Starting to Crawl

So our little Abby tries to get around but has a few obstacles. 

1.  She doesn't really like to be on her knees.

2.  She gets too many kisses from Roxy.



3.  She tires easily.



4.  She has a brother.
