Time With G. G.

Jason's Grandmother, aka G.G., has been spending a lot of time with us recently and Daniel has been loving every moment. Here they are playing at a nearby park while Mommy went to the laundry-mat to wash the bedspread.

Hello Baby Leo!

Daniel and Kat were able to visit her sister for a week and get to meet new baby Leo! Kat and Sharon enjoyed every moment together and Daniel and Ella played and played.

After a day of rest, we spent a day at Atlanta Zoo. This was quite a change from our little 10-trick zoo at home. Daniel got to see some awesome animals for the first time.

Ella even became upset that Daniel got too near this giraffe statue! Poor thing had a really hard time sharing.)


Just amazing! I've never seen a baby panda and this was amazing. Mom had just dropped the baby from the platform while trying to hide her from the crowd.

Later in the week we went to the Aquarium. It was beautiful!

Valentines Day Package

Jason's mother likes to show her love through gift giving. The week of Valentines Day we received a box of wonderful chocolate covered strawberries and Daniel got a package of his own. It contained an adorable card, a sweet book called I Love You Through and Through (which Daniel loves reading), a seek and find book, and a cartoon Bible story video from Jason's aunt. I think he thought he was pretty cool getting his own mail too!

Go, Go See Bison and Elk

Daniel asks to "go, go see bison and elk. go go see camels, go go see otters" just about every day. Yesterday was finally a spring-like day and I was willing to take him inside the zoo, not just through the preserve. We took some friends with us too to add to the fun. Sadie is very good with Daniel and likes to keep an eye on him for us. Her brother is too little to run very far so it was just my perpetual motion-son causing trouble!

First Professional Hair Cut

My little guy used to hold still enough to allow me to give him a trim. No more. I gave up and took him to Cost Cutters. The girl was very good with him and once bribed with a lollipop, Daniel behaved very well. (Maybe next time I can get him to smile a bit.)

Bounce U - Round 2

Daniel and I had so much fun at the Bounce gym that we had to go again as a family. Here are some videos of Daniel and Jason playing together. Boy is it tiring, but immensely fun.
