No More Footed Jammies

I went up to check on Daniel last night and this is what I found!

(He is totally nude under that towel.) My best guess based on the evidence on the bathroom floor is that Daniel woke up and had to pee. He took off his jammies, the one piece zip up kind, and his diaper, went potty but then couldn't get any of the stuff back on. What to do. . . grab a towel and go back to bed! Since it is cold, just curl up in a ball.

After I took the picture, I put a pull up and a shirt on him then pulled the blankets up. I then took all his one piece jammies out of the drawer and placed them up on a shelf until I can teach him how to put them on himself.

Daniel fought me for months about potty training and one day shortly after I told him I didn't care any more and he could do what he wanted, he decided that he was going to pee on the potty all the time (he has been doing his poops on the potty for a while now). He's now only wet when he wakes up from naps and in the morning. We are so proud of him. Each week that he stays dry we'll give him a special prize - so far he has earned a Red Shake n Go. Sarge and a Cars tent are waiting for weeks two and three of being dry.

  1. This is so bad of me...just now catching up on all my blog reading. This one is so funny to me because Ella did the same thing last night. She insisted on wearing her zip-up footie jammies and had to pee like three times during the night. I guess she gave up trying to put them back on because I found them in a pile on the bathroom floor and she was curled up in bed wearing a completely different set of PJ's. What a riot!
