Two Years Old!

Well, Daniel is officially Two! We had some friends meet us at Monkey Joe's in Camp Hill for a morning of bouncing fun and then had lunch and cake at Grammy and Pappy's house. Daniel loved playing with the other kids and keeps asking to go back so he must have had a great time.

New Friends

We have recently been hanging out with a sweet family across the street. The girls are 5 and 3 and the little boy is about 18 months. Daniel loves to play with them (they have toys and we don't for one thing) and asks to see them all the time. Here he is playing in the sand box with Ryan.

Whenever the rain lets up long enough to get out of the house, we like to go to the park. If there any any other little kids there, Daniel makes new friends in an instant. I love listening to their little conversations and watching how they interact so sweetly.

Spring at the Zoo

With less than 1 day in 10 having any sun, having a day nice enough to go to the zoo is a joy!

Finally the new wolf exhibit is open with some amazing animals! I could have sat and watched them play with each other all day long.

I Wanna Make Picutres

Daniel has discovered that when I tape him doing something, he can watch the video right away. He tells me that he wants to make pictures, then he'll go and do something silly and run over to me saying, "I wanna watch it!"

Iron Pigs

Jason scored reserved tickets to our local minor league baseball team, the Iron Pigs. We took our friends Ken and Kathleen with their little boy, Grant. The boys had fun clapping and dancing to the music. Daniel didn't sit still to watch the game at all but it was his first game so I didn't expect much more. I think we all had fun anyway!

Easter Sunday

We made the decision to stay home for Easter this year and see what the weekend is like at our church. Friday was a worship service and dinner at church that was lovely. Sunday was a beautiful day with a great service including a continental breakfast. Daniel ran around with all his little friends at both meals and pretty much wore himself out completely! It is so adorable to watch a group of 2-5 year olds racing around, hugging each other, and laughing.

My men in their Easter best.

After church we went to the new pastor's house for dinner. He felt we should spend the day together because our families are both without other family in the area. His kids entertained Daniel while we got to know each other better.

On the way home from dinner we stopped at the park to prolong our enjoyment of the warm weather. (Daniel crashed early and we will be able to as well!)
